What People's Say About Place

Honestly some of the best service we've received in the twin cities. We've been coming here for several years and even though we haven't been as regular lately, they still know my wife's order without prompting (even remembering to add cinnamon) and greeted me by name when I wasn't even in the actual coffee shop. Cozy vibe, always good music(!!), tasty, in-house pastries and cafe food, and a welcoming staff. Come on now! Go and enjoy

Be clear if you order something different. I specifically asked for a very strong Earl Gery with steamed milk. I got a ' London-Fog' specialty drink. ( it was very very syrup and too sweet to save. Had to toss it) but I love thier curried tuna salad so I did survive. I called to ler them know not to just - assume I want the specialty drink. My fault I should have specifically told them absolutely NO SUGAR. They were very apologetic and kind as usual. They asked to make it up- but I so infrequently go there- I said no worries. I'm just not doing coffee for Lent. So buyer make sure your instructions are very very clear to all. My order got passed to another person. I think that was the mix up. Yes I would go there again

Stopped by this lovely coffee shop while in the area working. Enjoyed my cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich, but what I appreciated most was the sense of community and warmth found here. It seems to be a special gathering spot for many within the neighborhood(and beyond).

8/2025: Update: remains my #1 favorite coffeeshop!! Love all of the staff and baristas! 9/2024 Update: #1 favorite coffeeshop. It's always busy and every person behind the counter continue to be kind and helpful! I've started eating more food on the menu (instead of coffee and cake). It's a great spot for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. Not to mention delicious cake, always!! 9/2022 Update: Still my favorite local coffeeshop! Since the pandemic, they have removed all seating in the front section to give space for people to stand and wait for orders. The wait can be long during coffee rush hours and having a safe space to stand is great! The back is opened up for seating to dine in our spend time with friends or work. I love all of their baked desserts, still a fan of the pistachio cake! My favorite coffeeshop!! Great drinks and food!! Love their cakes... pistachio is dreamworthy. Also love chocolate on chocolate and carrot cake!! Great monster cookies!

This place is just beautiful. Super friendly staff and a nice overall atmosphere. Lots of tables to spread out and work. A whole back area as well, which features more space and a stage. There was an open mic the night I went, which was great! But also, if you wanted to work and not hear the performers, the whole front area was apart, and had a door that shut for quiet during working. Great food, great coffee, and great feel. I will come back!

Great place to hang out and get work done. Relaxing atmosphere; not overly noisy. Background music is nice and not too loud or distracting. Their chicken salad sandwich is bomb! Very craveable - fresh bread, almonds, lettuce, tomato, and the cherries take it to the next level. I was surprised by how reasonable their prices are compared to some other coffee shops I frequent. I'll probably start coming here more often! My iced coffee was solid, as was my nutella, banana, and almond sandwich - very unique! Friendly staff. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms here, and an ample parking lot next to the building. Overall, a nice local coffee shop!

Cute and welcoming coffee shop with lots of options, food, flavors, and seating! Very cozy environment and seemed very inclusive. Will be back some time! :)

I live out of state, but grew up in the neighborhood coming here all the time. Still the same fantastic quality and vibes. Perfect cafe working environment. It’s good to see a Northeast staple running strong 20+ years later (in other words: it’s not just nostalgia making this place a fantastic choice for your caffeine fix).
